Ingredients
1 lb ground chuck
2 or 3 large fresh tomatoes, peeled and diced
3/4 cup tomato juice
2 tablespoons minced garlic (or 7 cloves)
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 cup (or more) frozen green beans
1/4 cup water (approx)
Instructions
1. In a large (2 quart) pot, place the onions, garlic, ground beef, water and brown the ground beef on med to high heat.
2. Add just enough water to keep from burning while you are browning the beef.
3. Once the meat is completely done, add the green beans, tomato juice, and tomatoes.
4. Simmer for 15 minutes with the lid on. Simmer for the last 5 (or longer) until the greenbeans are tender.
