> Cashew/Garlic Dip
CASHEW/GARLIC DIP
Pam created this great dip and makes it when her extended family visits for dinner. It is a great accompaniment to carrots or SCD crackers when you are hosting a party.
Ingredients
1 cup (150 g) whole raw cashews 3 garlic cloves, peeled and minced fine ½ cup (120 mL) olive oil ½ lemon, juiced ½ teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon (20 g) honey, optional add one tablespoon of honey.
Instructions
1. Blend the cashews in the food processor with the garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt
2. For a sweeter taste
Yield
1¾ cup (385 g)
