I cup lentils, rinsed and drained**
4 pork chops
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
1 small onion, chopped
1 medium carrot, shredded
1/4 teaspoon each salt and thyme
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
2 teaspoon dried parsley
3/4 cup dry white wine
1 11-1/2 ounce can tomato juice (legal)
1 tablespoon prepared Mustard
1. ** Soak beans overnight in cold water. Drain and throw away water. Rinse beans thoroughly under running water.
2. In crockpot...add everything but porkchops and start cooking.
3. Brown porkchops in olive oil. Place them on top of lentils and cook on High for 4-5 hours.
