"One of my favorite aspects of this book, in addition to the superb recipes and fabulous pictures, is the great writing and humor. Raman's stories have always cracked me up. Even in the hospital they had me laughing out loud. He introduces each chapter with a short narrative and his pickling experience had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. If you have not seen this gem of a cook book you really should check it out."
